The Mystery Of The 'Bionic' Girl Who Doesn't Eat, Sleep Or Feel Pain

There's a young girl who doesn't feel pain, get tired or ever feel hungry. In every sense, she is the complete opposite of me, because I feel all of those things at every given moment.
Olivia Farnsworth, from Huddersfield, may look like a regular child but she has been dubbed 'bionic' by doctors because of her seriously unique qualities.
The seven-year-old has a rare chromosome disorder and is thought to be the only person in the world who suffers from all three symptoms simultaneously. Her condition is so rare, it doesn't even have a name.

Incredibly, she was even hit by a car and it didn't hurt.
Her mum, Niki, 32, said: "She got run over and dragged down the street by a car and she didnt complain.
"She was dragged about ten car lengths down the road. It was horrendous, I dont think its something I will ever get over.
"I was screaming and all my other children were screaming as she ran out. But Olivia was just like, 'Whats going on?'.
"She just got up and started walking back to me."

Olivia can go three days without even napping and she is 'conditioned' to eat. Her mum says she is a happy child but can suffer from violent outbursts.
"She doesn't let any of this affect her - because for her, she's normal. She's never experienced pain, or hunger, or tiredness.
"But it was such a battle for us to find out what was causing her symptoms. The doctors had no idea what could be wrong with her.
"To look at Olivia you don't know anything's wrong with her. I want people to know and to stop judging. I want to raise awareness or chromosome 6 problems."
Niki is now trying to raise money for research into the rare disorder through a number of charity events.
