Since the turn of the 21st century Grand Theft Auto has been more than just a game, it's a pretty much vital piece of pop culture. If you're a gamer anyway. If you're not, you're probably not reading this.
When GTA V was released at the back end of 2013 it pretty much took over the world. It was a huge leap for the franchise, so much so that millions of people are still playing it online right now.
However, at some point Rockstar will have to make a new installment in the series.

Well, good news, a source speaking to TechRadar informed the site that work on GTA 6 was already underway.
The unnamed source first confirmed that there was at one point a plan to make a Grand Theft Auto game set in Japan. Ultimately it was scrapped when the brand realised the difficulty in moving the game outside of the United States. "There are a number of series staples, from brands to cars, that Rockstar would likely have to change if a future GTA was set somewhere else," the source said.

So no GTA Japan, but 6 is definitely happening. Obviously there was always going to be another installment in the series so this isn't really a shock but it's certainly good to have some definitive news on the sequel.
