Last month, the popular motivational speaker took time out of his schedule to speak to underachieving students at Vashon High School in St. Louis.
According to KFOR, over 70 percent of its students are reading below grade level, which is why Thomas offered his services free of charge. Normally he's paid between $50,000 to $100,000 for regular appearances.
During the talk, a student in the crowd began to disrespect the Chicago-born speaker.
Instead of sticking to the speech he had planned, Thomas went rogue and the resulting improvised lecture was truly inspirational.
