A pro-gun poster girl has been shot in the back by her toddler son and there has never been a more suitable moment for the 'Kermit the Frog drinking tea' meme.
Jamie Gilt, 31, who posts shit on Facebook all day about how much she loves guns, was driving through Putnam Country, Florida, when her four-year-old son picked up a loaded .45 semi-automatic handgun from the back seat, pointed it towards his mum and pulled the trigger.
"Putman County Sheriff's office spokesman Joseph Wells said: "As the deputy slowed to check on the vehicle, he observed an adult female in the driver's seat motioning to him as if she needed assistance."
"The deputy ran to the vehicle and quickly determined that the driver had been shot.
"The only other occupant of the vehicle was the victim's four-year-old son, who was unharmed.
"We're satisfied that this is not a criminal shooting."
Gilt was rushed to UF Health Shands Gainesville, where she's listed in a stable condition.
Her son has been placed in the care of family members, who hopefully aren't stupid enough to leave loaded guns around children.
The pro-gun plonker is yet to update her Facebook page about the incident, but she'll probably claim that if she had even more guns then this wouldn't have happened, because we all know more guns stop shootings, right?
People are fucking stupid.
